The Endeavor STEM Teaching Certificate Project works closely with Teachers College (TC), Columbia University, to bring innovative and meaningful professional development to K-12 teachers globally. Endeavor serves the needs of diverse teachers, students, and school communities through enriching STEM integration. Diversity and Equity in STEM Education, instructed by Dr. Anna Monteiro, a TC alumna and seasoned science educator who also works with Newark Public Schools, will share content and pedagogy involving science and mathematics in meaningful culturally relevant contexts for deeper understanding. This new addition to Endeavor's course offerings effectively bridges innovative STEM teaching practices with the diverse audience educators seek to serve.
