STEM Teaching Fellowship Launches Cohort 2 Building on Collaborative Success

The second cohort of Westchester County NY teachers begin their fellowship this week through the collaborative efforts of The STEM Leadership Center, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and the Endeavor STEM Teaching Certificate Project (see Press Release). A competitively selected group of 10 teachers begin their online coursework with Endeavor's Methods of STEM Education course. The tailored program builds educator confidence with STEM and provides resources for integrating meaningful, integrated experiences for middle and high school students. Working closely with Regeneron scientists in Tarrytown, NY to bring research and authentic data into classrooms, teachers will complete their fellowship in Summer 2016. The first cohort of teachers (see profiles), earning Certificates in Summer 2015 will integrate their experiences into the coming school year.
