How to Participate

Qualified organizations may sponsor eligible educators as Endeavor Fellows.

What are the qualified organizations?

  • School districts
  • Schools, public or private
  • Local education agencies
  • Departments of Education
  • Private school organizations or civic groups
  • Non-profit organizations including foundations with a record of supporting K-12 education or STEM initiatives
  • For-profit companies with a record of supporting K-12 education or STEM initiatives

Who are the eligible educators?

  • K-12, formal, in-service educators, including teachers and administrators
  • Pre-service educators who will be in the final semester of a certification program in Spring or Summer 2011
  • Alternate-route educators who will be in the final semester of a certification program in Spring or Summer 2011

What are the steps for a qualified sponsoring organization to arrange sponsorships?

  • Register for detailed information which includes the NASA Endeavor Video Sampler
  • Identify a cohort of eligible educators for sponsorship. They need not be members or employees of the sponsoring organization. Cohorts of more than 3 qualify for a lower cost of sponsorship.
  • Following verification of eligibility, a written sponsorship agreement will be executed between U.S. Satellite Laboratory, Inc., and the sponsoring organization.
