The Endeavor Experience

Participants in the Endeavor Online STEM Certificate Program:

• Complete 5 courses in a live, online format from the comfort of their homes and schools
• Earn a NASA Endeavor Certificate in STEM Education from Teachers College, Columbia University
• Learn to apply research-based, STEM pedagogical strategies including inquiry and design practices and STEM content to their classroom contexts
• Bring cutting-edge authentic data and resources to a standards-based curriculum

Endeavor participants may choose to complete coursework with the development of electronic portfolios. This can meet all portfolio requirements for earning National Board Certification.

Graduates become part of the special Endeavor Online Community sharing knowledge and insight with colleagues across the Nation to be on the forefront of research for practical ways to successfully integrate STEM learning in today’s K-12 classrooms.

Flexible Learning for Busy Educators

The Endeavor Online STEM Certificate Program offers educators a variety of scheduling options. All courses are offered as credit or non-credit on a tri-semester schedule of spring, summer, and fall. We recommend that full-time educators register for up to two classes per semester. Educators who take a sabbatical from the classroom may register for three courses to maximize their schedule.
